Nick Baxendale, Director of DonnellyBentley Chartered Accountants has celebrated the start of a second year as President of the Bolton Society of Chartered Accountants. One of his first duties was to host the Society’s annual dinner at The Moat House, which was attended by over 150 local business associates.
Nick has been a qualified Chartered Accountant for over 30 years and has extensive experience working both in practice and in industry. In 1991 he established his own practice, later to merge with Donnellys Chartered Accountants and then with Bentleys to form DonnellyBentley Chartered Accountants in 2013.
In his first year Nick worked to raise the profile of the Society amongst all professionals in the town by encouraging further networking opportunities, such as the event at the Vaults, which was attended by over 70 local business people.
Nick Baxendale comments on his appointment:
“It is an honour to have been re-elected and I am greatly looking forward to continuing my work at the helm of the BSCA. These are times of great change and that brings new challenges and also new opportunities. There is a renewed sense of optimism amongst the Bolton business community and I hope we continue to find ways of working together and supporting one another.”
